Inserting ReceptaclesInserting ReceptaclesThe Receptacle tool inserts an indicator and basic specifications to indicate the type and location of a receptacle.
To insert a receptacle:
Click the Receptacle tool from the MEP tool set.
Click to place the object, and click again to set the rotation. If the object is inserted in a wall, its direction can be changed later by clicking Flip from the Object Info palette.
The first time you use the tool in a file, a properties dialog box opens. Set the default properties, and click OK. The properties can be edited from the Object Info palette.
Click to show/hide the parameters.
