Managing IFC Data Mapping Configuration Sets

The current mapping configuration can be saved.

To save the current mapping configuration as a set:

1. From the IFC Data Mapping dialog box, click Save.

The Save Mapping dialog box opens.

2. Provide a name for the configuration set, and select whether to save the mapping of all the objects in the list, or only the mapping of the currently selected object in the Object list.

3. Click OK.

If you have saved IFC data mapping settings, click Manage from the IFC Data Mapping dialog box to rename or delete these saved settings.

To manage saved settings:

1. From the IFC Data Mapping dialog box, click Manage.

The Manage Saved Mapping dialog box opens. Select the saved mapping configuration set to change.

Click to show/hide the parameters.

Parameter	Description
Name	Lists the saved configuration sets
Type	Indicates whether the configuration set includes mapping for a complete set of objects, or mapping for a single object only. ●    : Includes mapping data for an entire set of objects ●    : Contains mapping for a single object
Rename	Select and enter a new name for the mapping configuration set. If the entered name is already assigned to another set, you are prompted to confirm that you want to replace the existing set with the set being saved.
Delete	Select to delete the mapping configuration set

2. Click OK to close the Saved Settings dialog box.
