3D Plant Geometry from a ShapeWhen generating plant geometry from another symbol, the 3D representation may not be available, or not suitable for the new plant. 3D geometry can be automatically generated, creating a suitable representation of the plant definition in 3D views.
To generate 3D plant geometry:
Click the Plant tool from the Site Planning tool set.
Click Preferences from the Tool bar.
The Plant Tool Preferences dialog box opens.
Click Edit Plant Definition from any pane in the Plant Tool Preferences dialog box.
The Edit Plant Definition dialog box opens.
From the Edit Plant Definition dialog box, click Generate.
The Generate 3D Plant Geometry dialog box opens.
Click to show/hide the parameters.
Click OK.
