Opening Saved Configuration Sets

To open a saved configuration set, loading the saved mapping configuration into the IFC Data Mapping dialog box:

  1. Do one of the following:

  2.     To load a saved configuration set from the user folder, select one from the Settings list. The default Vectorworks configuration is also available (all objects are selected for export), in addition to a default COBie configuration.

        To select a saved set from a local or network drive, click Open.

  3. If selecting a file from a local or network drive, browse to the location, select the file, and then click Open.

Saving Mapping Configuration Sets

The current mapping configuration can be saved.

To save the current mapping configuration as a set:

  1. From the IFC Data Mapping dialog box, click Save.

  2. The Save Mapping dialog box opens.

  3. Provide a name for the configuration set, and select whether to save the mapping of all the objects in the list, or only the mapping of the currently selected object in the Objects list.

  4. Click OK.

Renaming or Deleting Saved Sets

If you have saved IFC data mapping settings, click Manage from the IFC Data Mapping dialog box to rename or delete these saved settings.

To manage saved settings:

  1. From the IFC Data Mapping dialog box, click Manage.

  2. The Manage Saved Mapping dialog box opens. Select the saved mapping configuration set to change.

  3. Click OK to close the Manage Saved Mapping dialog box.
