Share files and make design decisions from any location with Vectorworks Cloud Services. This feature allows you to add files to a cloud storage account, so that you can view and share them from any web browser, as well as from the Vectorworks Nomad mobile app. Localized Vectorworks Cloud Services may not be available in your country; check with your local distributor.
Use the Cloud menu in the Vectorworks application to launch the Vectorworks Cloud Services website, where you can create and maintain your cloud storage account. To add files, sign in to your Vectorworks account, and place Vectorworks project files in the Vectorworks Cloud Services folder. The files are automatically uploaded to the cloud server. Optionally, you can also access your Dropbox and Google Drive files from your cloud account.
The cloud server generates 3D models of your Vectorworks drawings, rendered in OpenGL. If you are a Vectorworks Service Select member, the cloud server can also update and render viewports, and generate PDF files of all the sheet layers in the project file. Optionally, use the Cloud menu in the Vectorworks application to select a set of files, and publish specific saved views and sheet layers in multiple formats to the cloud library.
If you are a Vectorworks Service Select member, you can use files in your cloud storage to create interactive slide presentations. Board slides enhance 2D images or PDF files with other content, such as text or other linked files. Tour slides create virtual, immersive, 360° walkthroughs by linking panoramic images to each other.
To sign in, or to learn more about the benefits, select Help > Vectorworks Cloud Services. Check its availability in your location by visiting serviceselect.vectorworks.net/learn-more.
