Selecting and Assigning Hoist OriginsSelecting and Assigning Hoist OriginsThe hoist origin for an individual hoist can be quickly selected. Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) on the hoist and select Select Hoist’s Origin from the context menu.
In addition, selected hoists can be quickly set to a specific hoist origin object, or a new hoist origin can be created.
To assign hoists to a hoist origin object:
Select the hoists to be assigned.
Select Spotlight > Hoists > Assign Origin to Selected Hoists.
Click on the hoist origin. Alternatively, click in a blank area of the drawing to create a hoist origin for the selected hoists.
The selected hoists are assigned to the hoist origin. The Measured From parameter in the hoist Object Info palette updates to reflect the new hoist origin.
