Exporting Energy Analysis Results

The detailed results of the energy analysis calculations, along with the building envelope and project information, can be exported to a comma-delimited file (.csv) or tab-delimited file (.txt), which can then be opened in a spreadsheet program or sent for certification. Export all of the data, or select specific data sets for export.

To export the energy analysis results:

1. Select AEC > Energos > Export Energy Data.

The Export Energy Data dialog box opens.

Parameter	Description
Export	Select the data to export. ●    All Data: Exports all of the energy analysis data ●    Custom: Displays the data list, to select specific data for export; the data list displays for any modifications ●    Saved set: Select a named saved set of data to export
Manage Saved Sets	Opens the Manage Saved Sets dialog box to rename or delete sets of saved settings (see Managing Saved Export Settings)
Data list
Show	A check mark in the Show column indicates that the data will be exported
Disclosure arrow	Each set of data is grouped into categories; when the category heading is selected in the Show column, all of the category’s data exports. Placing a check mark in a heading category automatically selects all sub-categories for export. To select or deselect specific data within the category, click the disclosure arrow. The category expands, listing all data for individual inclusion in or exclusion from export.
Name	Lists the data sets by name
Save as Saved Set	Opens a dialog box to name and save the currently selected settings so that they can quickly be selected as a set

2. Select the data to export from the Export list, and then click OK.

Specify a location to save the file, and select the type of file (Comma Delimited or Tab Delimited).

3. Click Save.

Managing Saved Export Settings

If you have saved settings for energy analysis export, you can rename or delete these saved settings when needed.

To manage saved settings for energy analysis export:

1. From the Export Energy Data dialog box, click Manage Saved Sets.

The Manage Saved Sets dialog box opens. Select the set to change.

►    Click to show/hide the parameters.

Parameter	Description
Rename	Select and enter a new name for the saved set
Delete	Select to delete the set. You are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the saved set.

2. Click OK to close the Manage Saved Sets dialog box.
