Managing the Irrigation Catalog

The irrigation catalog is organized by manufacturer and product series. The displayed parameters depend on the selected product type.

To manage the irrigation catalog:

1. From the Object Info palette of a selected irrigation object, click Get From Catalog.

The catalog applicable to the selected object opens. For example, if a valve is selected, the Catalog: Valves dialog box opens.

►    Click to show/hide the parameters.

Parameter	Description
Manufacturer	Displays the currently selected manufacturer; select a different manufacturer from the list to view its product series
Series	Displays the currently selected product series; select a different series from the list if needed
Use Filter	Filters the displayed list according to the selections made in Filter
Filter	Opens the Catalog Filter dialog box, to restrict the displayed catalog list to specific criteria. ●    Show Catalog Items From: Restricts catalog item display to only the default product manufacturer items from the application folder, only the custom items from the user folder, or display all of the catalog items ●    Filter the list by: Select the available catalog parameters for each row of choices, and then select the comparison operator and the value. The “like” operator, for text, can use the * symbol to represent any set of characters, and the ? to represent any single character. Specify additional options, adding a new row of filter choices by clicking More Choices. To remove the most recently added row, click Fewer Choices.
Catalog Data	Displays the catalog data for the selected Manufacturer and Series. Available parameters depend on the object type.
Add	Adds a catalog item
Edit	Edits the currently selected row; default manufacturer’s catalog entries cannot be edited
Duplicate	Copies the currently selected row, adding it as an entry that can be edited
Delete	Deletes the currently selected row; default manufacturer’s catalog entries cannot be deleted

2. Edit the catalog as described in Editing the Irrigation Catalog.

Custom entries are saved in the user folder.
