Vectorworks products create an SAT file for exporting ACIS 3D solids.
To export an SAT file:
Select the command.
The Export Options dialog box opens.
Select Export Solids as Trimmed Surfaces to export a solid as several different ACIS “bodies” (for example, a cube exports as six ACIS bodies). If this option is deselected, a solid is exported as a single body.
Specify the file name and destination.
