The Clear command deletes any selected object or objects. It has the same effect as pressing the Delete key, meaning that the objects are not stored on the clipboard. The only way to retrieve a “cleared” object is to select Undo. This command provides an additional way of removing an object from the drawing without deleting the current contents of the clipboard.
To clear an object from the drawing:
Select the object or objects to remove from the drawing.
Select the command.
