Spur Gear

Multiple spur gear, spur gear rack, and hub tools share the same position on the tool set. Click and hold the mouse on the visible tool to open the Pop-out tools list and select the desired tool.
To insert a spur gear:
1. Click the tool and mode.
2.Click to place the object, and click again to set the rotation. The first time you use the tool in a file, a properties dialog box opens. Set the default parameters. The parameters can be edited later from the Object Info palette.
3.If you inserted a 3D spur gear, click the Hub - 3D tool from the Machine Components tool set to insert a 3D hub. Place the hub in the drawing and set the default properties, if prompted.
Click
to show/hide the parameters.
