The centerline of the road is defined with a polyline, and then stakes are added. The elevation of the stakes, which are initially set to the surface of the site model, can be modified before the road is created. Finally, the site model is updated and modified by the road object.
The Roadway (Poly) tool is the most straightforward, yet flexible way of creating a roadway in the Vectorworks Architect and Landmark products.
