Vectorworks customer portal

The Vectorworks customer portal (customers.vectorworks.net) is a central location for accessing Vectorworks services, content, and information. To sign in to the customer portal, or to learn more about Vectorworks Service Select, select Help > Customer Portal.

Vectorworks Service Select, accessed from the customer portal, is a software maintenance agreement that allows members to purchase Vectorworks products at a fraction of the cost of a new license. Members also get exclusive content and learning resources and always have access to the latest Vectorworks products.

Vectorworks Cloud Services

Share files and make design decisions from any location with Vectorworks Cloud Services. This feature allows you to add files to a cloud storage account, so that you can view and share them from any web browser, as well as from the Vectorworks Nomad mobile app. Localized Vectorworks Cloud Services may not be available in your country; check with your local distributor.

Use the Cloud menu in the Vectorworks application to launch the Vectorworks Cloud Services website, where you can create and maintain your cloud storage account. To add files, sign in to your Vectorworks account, and place Vectorworks project files in the Vectorworks Cloud Services folder. The files are automatically uploaded to the cloud server. Optionally, you can also access your Dropbox and Google Drive files from your cloud account.

The cloud server generates 3D models of your Vectorworks drawings, rendered in OpenGL. If you are a Vectorworks Service Select member, the cloud server can also update and render viewports, and generate PDF files of all the sheet layers in the project file. Optionally, use the Cloud menu in the Vectorworks application to select a set of files, and publish specific saved views and sheet layers in multiple formats to the cloud library.

If you are a Vectorworks Service Select member, you can use files in your cloud storage to create interactive slide presentations. Board slides enhance 2D images or PDF files with other content, such as text or other linked files. Tour slides create virtual, immersive, 360° walkthroughs by linking panoramic images to each other.

To sign in, or to learn more about the benefits, select Help > Vectorworks Cloud Services. Check its availability in your location by visiting serviceselect.vectorworks.net/learn-more.

To access the cloud services online help, select Cloud > Help.

Vectorworks Nomad app

The Vectorworks Nomad app allows you to view, mark up, share, and sync files in your cloud storage account from your mobile device. Vectorworks Nomad is available for iOS and Android devices.

Vectorworks Remote app

The Vectorworks Remote app allows you to control the Vectorworks application through various remotes on your mobile device. See Setting up Vectorworks Remote for more information.

Knowledgebase

One of the primary technical support resources available to you is our Knowledgebase. This resource provides answers to the most common technical questions, as well as video tutorials and tech tips, all in a central location. To access the Knowledgebase, select Help > Search Knowledgebase.

Vectorworks student portal

Students have free access to Vectorworks Design Series with Renderworks software, which may be downloaded from the student portal.

Vectorworks Viewer

The Vectorworks Viewer is a free resource from Vectorworks, Inc. that allows you to share Vectorworks drawings with clients, colleagues, and print vendors who may not have a copy of the Vectorworks software. Users can launch the Vectorworks Viewer to easily view and print Vectorworks drawings. In addition, they can use 2D and 3D tools to pan, zoom, measure, and change views, and they can simulate movement over, around, and through models.

The Vectorworks Viewer does not contain any drawing or editing tools, so you can be confident that the integrity of your design is maintained.

The Vectorworks Viewer can be obtained from the Vectorworks website, vectorworks.net.
