Purging items from a file

The Purge command removes specified items from the scene and reduces the size of the .vsn file.

To purge unused items from a .vsn file:

Select the command.

The Purge dialog box opens.

Parameter	Description
Select All	Selects all items in the list
Deselect All	Deselects all items in the list
Show preview	Displays a thumbnail graphic of each resource in the file
Item list	Lists each item in the file. Click in the Name column to select each item to purge. To sort the list by Name or Size (in kilobytes), click the appropriate column header. To resize the thumbnail graphics, click-and-drag the Preview header.

Select the items to remove.

Click OK to complete the purge.

If needed, select the Undo command to undo the purge.
