Creating circuits from a worksheet

Make Connections from List |
ConnectCAD > Compare |
This command uses a cable worksheet to create circuit connections between devices. The worksheet could be one that you imported from another drawing or one that you created and edited.
A useful way of using this command is to first select the Compare Cable List and Drawing command to select cables which have been deleted in the cable list. Delete the cables. Then use the Make Connections from List command to add new circuits.
Existing devices and sockets need to be present on the drawing.
To create circuits from a worksheet:
Select the command.
The Select Worksheet dialog box opens. If a worksheet is currently open, it is already selected; otherwise, select the worksheet.
The circuits are created, and they are selected on the drawing. Where source and destination sockets are fairly close, polyline-style circuits are drawn; otherwise, arrow-style connections are used.
