* As of its version 12, FileMaker Pro includes the driver needed to share your database as a data source. To use your FileMaker database file locally, FileMaker Pro must be running, and the database file opened and shared. To share your FileMaker database file as a data source over a network, use FileMaker Server Advanced. As of version 13 of FileMaker Pro, the ODBC driver is distributed with the server version of the product. For more details, see claris.com.
