Often, multiple scans are required to accumulate all the data needed for a comprehensive point cloud of an area or object. After multiple point clouds are imported into a Vectorworks file, they can easily be combined into a single point cloud object suitable for collective editing.
To merge multiple point clouds into a single point cloud object for editing:
Select the imported point clouds to be merged.
Select the command.
A single point cloud object is created from the merged scans.
