The Cross Section Workload dialog box analyzes the workload and structural properties of the cross sections that participate in calculations. While Braceworks is required for the calculations, Spotlight users can use this command to check the properties of the cross sections in the drawing and check for potential problems.
To check the cross section workload:
Select the command.
The Cross Section Workload dialog box opens.
Select the Cross Section from the list to view its properties.
Click to show/hide the parameters.Click to show/hide the parameters.

Geometry |
Displays a diagram of the selected cross section, showing its geometry and dimensions; parts of the cross section that participate in the proof calculations are indicated |
Status Indicator |
Allows you to see at a glance whether the workload stresses on the cross section are within safe compliance limits. Green indicates the workload is fine, yellow indicates caution as safe limits are being approached, and red means the cross section is overloaded. If the indicator is blank, the information is insufficient. |
Create Cross Section Worksheet |
Automatically sends the load data to a Cross Section information worksheet; if one already exists, the worksheet name is automatically incremented |
Create Influence Line Worksheet |
Automatically sends the load data to a Maximum influence lines values worksheet; if one already exists, the worksheet name is automatically incremented |
Information |
Displays the data about the selected cross section. Double-click on a row item to select and center the item in the drawing. |
Influence Lines |
Displays influence line calculated values for the selected cross section. Double-click on a row item to select and center the item in the drawing. |
