To use this command, you must add it to the ConnectCAD menu. See Modifying menus and commands.
Files containing ConnectCAD symbols from previous versions can be easily converted. This command applies only to files that were created before ConnectCAD joined the Vectorworks suite of products. It updates the following symbol-based objects to plug-in objects, and it keeps any connections between them:
Devices
Sockets
Circuits
Equipment items
Equipment racks
To update a symbol-based ConnectCAD file:
Open a file and select the command.
The ConnectCAD objects in the file are updated.
