File > Export |
Vectorworks exports 3D models in a VGX format that can be viewed on the Vectorworks Cloud services web portal and the Nomad mobile app, in Unity®-based 3D and augmented reality (AR) views.
To export a VGX 3D model:
In a design layer, set the desired initial 3D view, including class and layer visibility, and a clip cube if desired. Only visible classes and layers are exported.
Select the command.
Alternatively, use the Generate 3D Model command on the Vectorworks Cloud Services web portal, the desktop app, or the Nomad mobile app.
Because 3D models are always processed on Vectorworks Cloud Services, the Generate 3D model dialog box opens on the cloud, to control the file size, performance, and appearance. If you are not currently logged in to Vectorworks Cloud Services, you are prompted to log in before proceeding.
