Resequencing grid lines

Resequence selected grid lines, or relabel an entire grid sequence, by changing their labels collectively, rather than relabeling individual grid lines. Grids can be resequenced only from design layers, not from viewport annotations.
To resequence grid lines:
Do one of the following:
To resequence an entire grid sequence, right-click on a line in the sequence and select Select Grid Sequence from the context menu.
To create a new grid sequence from a selection of existing grid lines that do not currently comprise a complete sequence, Shift-click to multiple select the individual grid lines to resequence.
Right-click on any one of the selected grid lines and select Re-Sequence from the context menu.
The Re-sequence Grid Line dialog box opens. It displays the placement order of the selected grid lines, their current value, and the value that results from the resequencing.
Change the order of the grid lines in the sequence, if needed, by clicking in a line's Current Value column and dragging it up or down the list.
Enter the New Label of First Selected Grid; the Result column updates using the Grid Line tool's automatic incrementation rules (see Grid label increments). If the new label is non-numeric, the Do Not Include Characters field is enabled, so you can change the characters to be excluded from the resequencing results if needed.
