Basic event design

Vectorworks Spotlight offers a suite of automated commands for modeling a complete room layout. The Event commands are ideal for designing small events such as banquets and training sessions, but they can also facilitate more complex designs.

Automatically create the room for the event, including the slab, walls, stage, steps, lectern, and video screens from the Event commands located on the Entertainment (Design Suite) or Spotlight menu, and add seating using the Seating Section tool. View the room setup in a rendered or plan view, and obtain a report on the total number of tables and chairs. The event design suite uses intelligent objects to quickly create the room from only a few parameter settings. These objects can be further customized from the Object Info palette.

Spotlight also provides tools for Advanced event design with all the features needed for large concert and theatrical venues.
