Exporting 3D geometry to Revit

The Export Revit (3D geometry only) command exports 3D Vectorworks objects either as a single object (to a family file), or as individual 3D geometric objects (to a project file).
To export 3D geometry to Revit:
Select the command.
The Export Revit (3D geometry only) dialog box opens.

Revit version |
If Process On is set to Vectorworks Cloud, select which version of Revit to export to. When the export is processed on the local computer, the most recent Revit version is always used. |
Process On |
Select whether to process the export on your local computer or on Vectorworks Cloud Services. Processing on Vectorworks Cloud Services is available only with a subscription or as a benefit of Vectorworks Service Select. |
Select the export options.
Specify the export file name and location. For the cloud processing option, the destination folder must be within the Vectorworks Cloud Services folder or an integrated Dropbox folder.
The cloud job status displays on the Vectorworks Cloud Services desktop app and web portal. See the online help for Vectorworks Cloud Services to create automated processing tasks for collaborative workflows.
