Updating custom workspaces and plug-in objects
When a Vectorworks product update is installed, the workspaces and plug-in objects in the Vectorworks root folder (where the application is installed) are replaced. For new major versions, use the Migration Manager to bring custom workspaces and plug-in objects into the new version of Vectorworks; see Vectorworks Migration Manager.
If existing third-party plug-ins are incompatible with the new version of Vectorworks, the Incompatible Plug-ins Report dialog box opens. It lists the plug-ins that cannot be loaded and gives an option to navigate to the file location, where you can either delete or replace the plug-ins.
