Drag and drop importing
In addition to the import commands on the File menu, a drag and drop import shortcut is available in the Design Suite, for most file formats. Select the file to import and drag it into an open Vectorworks file.

The imported objects will be centered on the drop point, except for the following file types: DXF/DWG, DWF, Revit, IFC, USD, point cloud, Shapefile, and SketchUp.
