Patching

The Patch dialog box displays the DMX patch information for the items in the scene. In addition to DMX patching, you can select fixtures, filter for data, and export, import, and print data.

Parameter	Description
Filter	Filters the fixtures by list parameter such as fixture, manufacturer, or universe. Select Show All to display all fixtures in the list.
Export	Exports the patch information of all the fixtures in comma-separated value (csv) format to a Vision .v3p patch file; specify the file name and location
Import	Imports patch information from a Vision .v3p patch file
Print	Saves the patch information as a PDF file
Finished	Closes the Patch dialog box
Fixtures list	Lists the fixtures and fixture information (according to the selected Filter), including universe and channel assignment; click on a column heading to sort the list in ascending or descending order
Channel Availability	Displays channel usage per universe. Green areas represent channels in use, and red are in conflict. The number of universes displayed depends on the Vision dongle and license.
