To add a device:
1. Click the tool.
2. Do one of the following:
● Click Empty device mode to place a basic, generic device.
● To use an existing device from the resource libraries, click Symbol device mode, and then click Device symbol on the Tool bar. From the Resource Selector, double-click a resource to activate it.
Symbols from the System Symbols folder are not available for placement by the New Device tool.
3. Click to place the device.
The device parameters can be edited from the Object Info palette. To complete a basic device, the next step is to add sockets as described in Adding sockets.
Click
to show/hide the parameters.
