Adding a rack ruler

The rack ruler measures the height of equipment racks by placing a 2D ruler on the drawing with both drawing unit and rack unit markings.

To place a rack ruler:

1.      Click the tool.

2.Click once to place the rack ruler; click a second time to set the rotation.

In the Object Info palette, set the Height of the rack ruler in rack units, and if the rack ruler measurements should be offset from the base of the equipment rack, enter a Base Offset value.
