Design SuiteEditing a grid line’s path

An existing grid line’s path can be edited by clicking and moving the control points that define the grid line’s length and rotation, the shoulder line’s length, and, optionally, shoulder elbow position. The shoulder line length can also be edited on the Object Info palette, along with other grid line parameters; see Grid line properties. To edit the graphic layout and text in the grid bubble, see Editing the grid line bubble layout.

Shoulder lines are always collinear/tangent to the end of the grid line.

You can manually edit the paths of multiple grid lines at once, when the Selection tool’s Unrestricted Interactive Scaling mode is selected. All selected grid lines respond the same way to the edits, even if the grid lines are not identical and not in the same sequence.
