Use the Attribute Mapping tool to interactively edit the size, position, and angle of various fills (with the exception of patterns and solids). Available modes depend on which object and fill type are selected. The tool cannot be used on an object with an attribute override from a data visualization view.

Use the tool to edit a tile, associative hatch, gradient, or image fill that has been applied to an object.

When working with hardscape objects, use the tool to edit the object fill, main joint pattern, or border joint pattern. See Editing hardscape fills and joint patterns.

When working in 3D, use the tool to edit textures directly in the drawing. See Direct texture mapping.
