Hoist and dead hang objects that were created with the Hoist tool and Insert Dead Hang tool prior to Vectorworks 2021 can be converted to the current hoist for improved performance.
To convert old hoist or dead hang objects:
Select the objects to convert, and select the command.
Data from the old hoist or dead hang object is transferred to the new hoist symbol, and the Braceworks connections are maintained (Braceworks required). The geometry for the low hook and the high hook is converted to use the new symbol geometry.
The following field mapping is used in the Object Info palette.
