Managing an organization or user profile

Organization owners can create and manage an organization profile. An organization profile allows you to publish resources under your organization's name, helping other users identify partner-provided content on The Exchange.

Each organization can have one organization profile. Individual users can belong to one or more organizations and may have access to more than one organization profile. Only members with designated access can use an organization profile to upload or manage resources; see "Creating and managing an organization profile" below.

Signed-in users can also view and edit their individual profiles to manage resources they have uploaded. Your profile provides access to your uploaded resources and associated information, such as resource details and visibility settings.

Creating and managing an organization profile

Create and manage organization profiles, and user access, from the web browser version of The Exchange. Do the following:

Access The Exchange from a web browser, and sign in.

Click the name in the top-right corner of The Exchange, then select Organizations to open the Organization Profiles page.

The Exchange only displays organizations for which you are listed as an owner in the Vectorworks Customer Portal. Use the Customer Portal to manage the organization itself and its members.

Click Create or Edit next to the organization profile.

The Create Profile or Edit Profile dialog box opens.

You cannot create organizations, or add members to an organization, from The Exchange; use the Customer Portal instead.
