Sets the slab’s datum height to be defined by the layer elevation, or set it to be bound by one of the story levels defined for the story or the story below it (Architect required). By setting the slab datum to a level type, if the elevation of the associated story changes, the datum of the slab changes automatically to match.

Z Off

Specifies the offset (positive or negative) of the slab’s datum component from the layer elevation (see Setting design layer properties)

Style

Displays whether the slab is styled (with the displayed slab style name) or unstyled, and provides the ability to replace a slab style, edit a slab style, or convert a styled slab to unstyled

Bounding

Slab edges can be automatically bound by associated walls, they can be defined manually, or they can consist of some automatically bounded edges and some manually bound edges. See Concept: Automatically bounded and manual slab edges and Converting slab boundary associations.

Components

For unstyled slabs, opens the Slab Components dialog box for editing or Creating slab components

Edge Offsets

Opens the Edge Offsets dialog box, for independently Setting edge offsets

Thick

Displays the overall thickness of the slab; the thickness of a slab without components is determined by the Overall Thickness set in the Slab Preferences. The thickness of a slab with components is defined by the sum of the component thicknesses.

Energos

(Architect required)

Slabs can participate in Energos energy analysis calculations (see Energos energy analysis module)

Include in Calculations

When selected, the slab is eligible to be included in energy calculations, depending on the energy analysis settings for layer/class, element inclusion, and so on.

Displays the slab area
