Creating schematic views

Use the Create Schematic View command to generate interactive plans of rigging and any attached loads. You can create the schematics before or after you have finished designing in 3D. The schematic views are linked with the model, so applicable edits are transferred between the model objects and their schematic instances; see Concept: Schematic views.

Parameter	Description
Layer	Select an existing design layer, or create a new one, for the schematic view. It is recommended that you place the schematic views on a different design layer than the model objects, for organizational purposes.
View	Select the 2D component view to show in the schematics; see Concept: 2D components for symbol definitions and plug-in objects
Create Schematic Views for the truss line	Creates a separate schematic view for each rigging object in the selected truss line

A schematic view is created for each rigging object and its associated loads. The schematic views are inserted at the document origin. If multiple schematics were created, they are inserted next to each other based on the stacking order of the parent rigging objects. All schematic objects are inserted in the active class.
