Preparing to Publish with the Title Block Manager

For drawing files with title block border objects already added to the sheet layers, the Title Block Manager provides a means for quickly scrolling through the title block borders in a project to prepare them to publish. The Title Block Manager dialog box also provides access to the Issue Manager, which creates reports of the revisions and issues in the file.

To prepare files with title block borders for publishing:

1. Select File > Title Block Manager.

The Title Block Manager dialog box opens.

Parameter	Description
Title Block on Layer	Displays the layer name of the title block border to be managed. When the dialog box opens, the layer displayed is the first one in the Layers list, not the layer that is active when the Title Block Manager command is selected; click <Prev and Next> to scroll through the list and manage different title block borders. For changes that are not title bock border-specific, such as editing project data or adding a revision to All Active Sheets, it does not matter which title block border is active.
Use Style	To use an existing title block border resource for the current title block border, click Use Style; from the Resource Selector, double-click a different resource to select it
Convert to Unstyled	If Use Style is currently set to a style, select this option to convert the object to unstyled; the current values are retained, but all parameters on all panes are set to By Instance to allow editing
Title Block Border tabs	The Project Data, Sheet Data, Revision Data, Issue Data, and Document Options tabs function the same way the corresponding panes do in Title Block Border Settings. When revisions and issues are added to the project here, instead of from the Title Block Border Settings dialog box, they can also be added to sheets in other files.
Issue Manager	Opens the Issue Manager dialog box, for Creating Project Revision and Issue History Reports

2. Set the parameters for individual sheets, or for multiple sheets, and click OK.

The publish set includes the title block borders when published.
