Aisle
|
Event Design |
An aisle can be added to a seating section object. When the two objects overlap physically and are on the same layer or in the same group, they are associated. When either associated object is resized or reshaped, the other object adjusts automatically as needed. If the aisle or seating section is physically moved so they no longer overlap, or one of them moves to a different layer, the association is broken.

Split |
When selected, and when the associated seating section is completely bisected by the aisle, splits the seating section into two seating section objects. |
Preferences |
Sets the default parameters that are used for each new aisle |
Aisles and seating sections can be placed in the drawing in any order, depending on whether you prefer to insert the seats first or the aisles first, or need to add additional seating sections or aisles later. If they are on the same layer or in the same group, and physically intersect, they are associated.
To place an aisle and associate it with a seating section:
1. Click the tool and mode.
2.To split the associated seating section into multiple sections, click Split mode from the Tool bar.
When a seating section is split into multiple sections, an incrementing number is added as a suffix to the seating section’s name. Before inserting an aisle with Split mode, click Preferences from the Tool bar and name the aisle.
3.Do one of the following:
● If using Create from Shape mode, move the mouse over a previously drawn shape until it is highlighted. Click to select it.
● If using Rectangle or Polyline mode, click in the drawing to create the bounding shape for the aisle.
The aisle is placed on the drawing. When it is associated with a seating section, the objects dynamically interact.
