Inserting mother grids automatically

To insert a mother grid automatically:

Click the tool and mode.

Click Symbol on the Tool bar to select a resource from the Resource Selector.

Move the mouse to the rigging object where the mother grid will connect.

Using Auto Connect technology, a preview of the truss system is dynamically displayed on possible connection points.

Click on the rigging object at the desired connection point. The mother grid is inserted in the drawing.

 

The parameters of the hoist and truss objects can be edited from the Object Info palette.
