Vectorworks provides Windows users a unidirectional connection to the NVIDIA® Omniverse™ collaboration platform. With the Omniverse Connector tool, you can publish a 3D model to the NVIDIA Omniverse Nucleus server to be opened, viewed, and modified by other Omniverse users. You can also export the current model to Omniverse View, to open it on your local machine.

Use of the NVIDIA Omniverse collaborative environment requires an NVIDIA RTX® video card with the latest video drivers, an Omniverse account, an installed Omniverse Nucleus server and account, and an installed version of the Omniverse View and/or Create applications.

As an alternative to using the Omniverse Connector tool to interact with the Omniverse collaborative platform, the Export USD (3D only) command exports 3D models in .usd, .usda, and .usdc file formats (see Exporting USD files). The Import USD (3D only) command imports .usd, .usda, .usdc, and .usdz file formats (see Importing USD files).
