The Edit Data Visualization command edits the currently applied visualization or visualization set. To edit other visualizations, right-click a visualization/set in the Resource Manager's Resource viewer pane, and select Edit from the context menu.
The Data Visualization menu is only available from the View bar when a design layer is the active layer.
Edits apply to the design layer, saved views, viewports/viewport styles, and other files that use the same visualization.
To edit the current data visualization:
Select the command.
The Edit Data Visualization or the Edit Data Visualization Set dialog box opens.
Edit the visualization parameters as described in Creating a data visualization or Creating a data visualization set.
You cannot create a new visualization by changing its name; this simply renames it. Instead, create a duplicate of the visualization with a different name and edit it.
Edits apply globally to the design layer and to any saved views and viewports/viewport styles with the visualization applied.
