Design SuiteEditing doors, windows, and assemblies

Once a door, window, or assembly has been created, there are multiple ways to edit it:

Reshape a door/window's dimensions, using the Selection tool.

Reshape a door and window assembly's overall shape using the Reshape tool.

Edit the layout of a door and window assembly by adding, repositioning, and deleting individual parts of the assembly and changing their settings in the layout's object editing mode.

Interactively change door and window handing, or orientation in the wall, using the Selection tool; handing can be changed for individual doors and windows within an assembly, but not for the assembly overall.

Edit unstyled objects or the by instance parameters of a styled objects in the Settings dialog box for a selected door/window/assembly. To access it, click Settings from the Object Info palette, double-click the object, or right-click on it and select Edit from the context menu.

Edit unstyled objects or the by instance parameters of a styled object directly from the Object Info palette; some properties are available only from the Object Info palette.

Replace the style from the Object Info palette.

Edit the style, which changes every instance in the file that uses that style.
