Replacing plant style graphics
You can replace the Top/Plan and/or 3D graphics used to represent plants in a drawing; for 3D graphics, you can select from several different image sources. Plant graphics are defined by the plant style, and changes affect all plants in the drawing that use the style. While you can't change graphics for individual plant instances, you can introduce variation into the display of plants in a drawing; see Plant settings: Appearance pane.
Alternatively, you can edit the symbols the graphics are based on; see Editing plant style graphics.
To replace plant style graphics:
Do one of the following:
In the Edit Plant Style dialog box Graphics pane, click Replace Current Graphics in the Top/Plan or 3D Graphics section.
In the Plant Style Manager, move the cursor over one or more plant style rows to edit. In either the Top/Plan Graphics column or the 3D Graphics column, click the pencil icon, and then select Replace Top/Plan Graphics or Replace 3D Graphics. Replacing geometry does not affect the plant style's spread or height; you can batch replace the graphics for multiple styles at once.
The Replace Top/Plan Graphics or Replace 3D Graphics dialog box opens. The available options vary depending on the view, and for 3D graphics on the replacement method selected.
